Our journey began several years ago developing woodworking projects for children in a local church. We wanted to give kids a chance to learn building skills with the help of an adult by their side. These projects were primarily wood kits and intended for learning and developing skills that stay with our kids for life. It is both educational, fun and our young builders learn skills that are not taught or passed along as they once were.

From the first project onward, one of my joys has been to develop wood projects that engage young people to not only learn skills for building, but to grow in math and reading and other areas that will enhance their ability to learn. As with all these projects, none are intended to be built without adult supervision and mentoring. In fact, the primary hope is that adults will spend time helping children to buil
The items we are offering have been developed for the purpose of equipping adults with the "tools" to help a young person develop skills that go well beyond the project itself to continue to build, learn and grow. During the original project days, I saw the joy and fun that children had in building and completing their own project. I also witnessed how quickly our young people pick up on new skills if they are given a chance to do so. Our project day was called Mission Toolbox, which is how our company got its name.

These kits are intended to be used as a project for a young person working with an adult alongside, and the kits can also be given as a gift, already assembled or given as a kit to be built (great for hobbyists too).
New kits are coming soon, so check our site often. Better yet, sign up for our mailing list and be notified when new products become available. While the projects are
designed to be actual working toolboxes, these premium
products can be used as decorative pieces as well. . We currently offer different versions of the toolbox kit as the first project to begin the journey.
